Besides bananas, mangosteen, pineapples and papaya are widely cultivated in the tropics,
including south Asia.
In 2007, through a joint-venture arrangement with a Malaysian agricultural company,
Guangzhao will propagate and supply plantlets of tropical fruits to the Malaysian's
Department of Agriculture under a long-term contract.
